EXCHANGING KNOWLEDGE

Learning opportunities for all ages

More than just environmental education

If you understand that you are one of the elements that shape the ecosystem, it will change your perspective about your role on the planet Earth. We would like to accompany you during the learning process and share with you our knowledge and experience, putting at your disposal the best classroom there is: nature itself.

Children’s education

We aim at integrating children who visit Las Corchuelas in our daily activities on the farm. At this early stage of life, we can easily trigger learning activities, almost without realizing it, what will slowly develop into experiences and knowledge for them. Taking care of them and offering them a range of possibilities to develop themselves in harmony is a treasure for the present and for the future.

Pedagogical methods that inspire our activities and infrastructure:

  • Forest-school.
  • Reggio Emilia.
  • Emmi Pikler.

In Las Corchuelas, there are countless possibilities:

  • Observation and participation in scientific experiments.
  • Participation in the tasks of the farm (livestock, orchard, garden, etc.).
  • Wildlife observation and monitoring.
  • Land-art.
  • Free playing.

Higher education and professional training

Our ultimate goal is to collaborate in the training of researchers who enjoy deciphering what is happening around us, and in the training of those people who want to apply scientific knowledge both in applied research and in production and land management.
